Buildings, businesses & property teams

Who we work with.

Lift support for the buildings you manage.

From residential blocks and schools to hotels, shops and factories, we support the people responsible for keeping lifts in service across London and the South East.

One lift or several sites. Planned maintenance and one-off repairs.

Support shaped around your site.

The equipment, daily usage and access arrangements matter as much as the building type. Tell us how your lift is used and what happens when it is unavailable.

Residential blocks

For residents, a lift can be essential to daily access. Managing agents and building teams need a clear account of faults, repair requirements and the current lift status.

  • Discuss access to occupied buildings and machinery spaces.
  • Record recurring problems and outstanding recommendations.
  • Plan maintenance and repairs with the building contact.
Maintenance for your building

Schools

A school lift may support access between teaching spaces or carry equipment and supplies. We discuss the lift’s role, school access procedures and practical arrangements for attendance.

  • Share term dates and suitable windows for planned work.
  • Identify the staff member arranging access and approvals.
  • Discuss the impact on pupils, staff and site operations.
Platform lift support

Hotels

Passenger and service lifts support guests, housekeeping and deliveries. Tell us which lift is affected and how the loss of service is disrupting the hotel, so we can discuss the next step.

  • Explain peak occupancy, delivery and housekeeping periods.
  • Agree access and the site contact for the visit.
  • Separate an immediate fault from planned improvement work.
Lift repairs & fault finding

Offices & workplaces

Facilities teams need maintenance records, repair decisions and access arrangements that work for an occupied building. We discuss equipment usage and the information needed to plan the work.

  • Confirm security, reception and contractor access procedures.
  • Share recurring faults and any tenant-reported symptoms.
  • Keep findings and follow-up work available for your team.

Shops & small businesses

A lift may provide customer access or move stock between floors. Whether you manage the premises yourself or work through a landlord, we can discuss the equipment and the repair or servicing needed.

  • Tell us whether the lift carries people, goods or both.
  • Discuss trading hours and delivery access.
  • Confirm who can authorise work and receive the report.
Goods lift support

Factories

Goods and passenger lifts can form part of a factory’s daily workflow. Share how the installation is used, the fault history and the site arrangements needed before an engineer attends.

  • Explain loading patterns and the impact on production or deliveries.
  • Identify site inductions, permits and access requirements.
  • Consider the condition and supportability of older equipment.
Repair & upgrade planning

Veterinary clinics

Clinics may rely on a lift for access between floors or moving equipment and supplies. We discuss its role in the premises, any reported problems and the arrangements needed around a working clinic.

  • Share appointment patterns and suitable access times.
  • Tell us about site hygiene and access procedures.
  • Confirm the lift type and how it is used.
Understand your lift’s condition

These are examples of the buildings we support. If your site is different, tell us about it. Support is assessed against the lift and the work required. Private-home stairlifts are outside our service scope.

A building owner.
A site team.
A property portfolio.

You do not need to know which component has failed before contacting us. Start with the location, what has changed and who we should speak to.

Managing agents & facilities teams

Share your lift list, site contacts and existing records. We discuss maintenance cover, outstanding work and reporting for each installation, whether you are reviewing one building or several sites.

Building owners & business operators

Tell us what you need the lift to do, any known faults and who approves the work. We can discuss a one-off repair, planned servicing or an assessment before larger work is considered.

Lift surveys & planning

Site managers & building contacts

Your observations help: what happened, which floors are affected and whether the problem has returned. Existing job sheets and examination reports help us understand the history.

Keeping a useful fault history

Clear scope.
Useful records.
Practical next steps.

Across these buildings, we support modern systems and legacy equipment from a wide range of manufacturers. Our capability includes in-house control-board and drive repairs, assessed case by case.

Our job sheets record the work and findings, how the lift was left and any recommended follow-up. A maintenance visit and its report do not replace an independent LOLER examination.

We can help arrange LOLER examinations through third-party providers, or put you in touch directly. Share any existing examination findings or test requests when discussing the work.
