What does your lift need?

Choose a service to see how we can help and what to expect.

Lift repairs

Fault finding, one-off repairs and 24/7 emergency call-outs. You do not need a maintenance contract with Forge to ask for help.

Lift maintenance

Planned preventative visits and Standard, Intermediate or tailored Comprehensive cover. Choose support around your equipment and usage.

Lift modernisation

Targeted upgrades to existing equipment, from control systems and drives to doors and communication equipment.

Supplementary testing

Specified tests to investigate the equipment further, including tests requested by your independent lift examiner.

LOLER examinations

Help arranging a thorough examination with an independent third-party provider, or an introduction so you can arrange it directly.

Lift inspections

Condition assessments, maintenance quality reviews and checks on completed repairs, within an agreed scope.

Engineering support, clearly explained.

We support nearly all brands of lifts. Tell us about your installation so we can confirm the appropriate approach.

In-house electronic repairs

We assess control boards and drives for repair in-house, case by case. Where suitable, this can offer another option alongside replacement.

A few practical questions.

Can you help if another company maintains our lift?

Yes. We welcome one-off repairs, including lifts that are not under a maintenance contract with Forge. Tell us about the fault and your equipment so we can discuss the next step.

How quickly can an engineer attend?

Call us directly for an urgent breakdown. We offer 24/7 emergency call-outs and will discuss availability for your location and the circumstances of the fault. We’ll confirm the next available attendance when you call.

Can you arrange our LOLER examination?

Yes. We can help arrange an examination with an independent third-party provider or put you in touch directly. We do not carry out LOLER examinations in-house.

Can we move our maintenance to Forge?

We can discuss the lift, available maintenance records and the cover you need. Check the notice period and other obligations in your existing contract before arranging a change. Compare our three maintenance packages.
